The emphasis at Camp Voyageur is on having fun in the great outdoors. Campers enjoy a casual pace of athletics balanced with excursions canoeing and hiking in the nearby wilderness. Living and working together in the northwoods kindles an appreciation for the simple pleasures of life, good friends, good food, exercise and Ma Nature.

        In addition to this philosophy, they boys will set personal goals for themselves. Some of those goals are based on internal things and some are not. There are also a number of goals that we throw out that the boys can consider. Of these goals here are 7 of them, which will get their name on a plaque in the Mess Hall. We may present these goals to the boys, but ultimately it is their persistence that gets them on a plaque.
